Merging immersive entertainment with inclusivity, Shroom Rave VR: A VR Experience for Inclusive Music Visualization, is an innovative virtual reality project designed by Keighton to revolutionize the way people experience music built on Unity for Meta Quest. The experience caters not only to partygoers seeking a unique and visually stunning environment but also addresses the needs of the hearing-impaired community. By translating music into captivating visual displays inspired by various mushroom-themed rooms, Shroom Rave VR ensures that everyone can enjoy and connect with music on a profound level.
Hardwares & Softwares



Shroom Rave VR is a multi-room virtual clubbing experience, featuring a collection of three rooms with my orginal custom 3D models made on Cinema4D as well as sourced models. Each unique room is inspired by a different mushroom species. These rooms serve as the canvas for the visual representation of music, offering partygoers an immersive and surreal journey through various enchanting environments. Through visualizations on Unity, Shroom Rave VR aims to convey the rhythm, melody, and emotions of the music, ensuring that individuals with hearing impairments can “hear” and feel the music. Animations are done using custom motion capture and C# coding via Unity.
