I am Keighton,
a queer, Asian, New York-based transmedia artist, creative designer, and visual jockey with 10+ years of expertise in narrative storytelling, emerging technology, experience design, and digital media.
My work explores the intersection of accessible design and multisensory interactions, driven by identity, queer visibility, racial equity, and disability justice. I craft immersive installations, interactive applications, and experimental experiences using Adobe Creative Suite, TouchDesigner, Cinema 4D, Unity, and Figma.
Currently, I’m the Content & Design Manager at equalpride, leading copywriting, creative design, multimedia content, and experiential marketing for legacy LGBTQ+ brands like Out, The Advocate, OutTraveler, and HIV Plus. I’ve worked with major clients — including McDonald's, Lexus, and Disney — to develop compelling visual narratives and brand experiences.
Additionally, I freelance as the Lead Content & Experience Designer at Chrome Collective, creating adaptive, system-driven experiences using 3D modeling, real-time graphics generation, and extended reality design.
My background spans journalism, public relations, digital marketing, and higher education, with 6+ years in the newsrooms of BuzzFeed, NBC Universal, New York Magazine’s Bedford + Bowery, Hong Kong Free Press, and NYU Now Newscast.
Catch me wandering a park staring at flowers, getting lost in a museum with my pink AirPods Max, or flipping through records on my iPod Classic. I’m always down to discuss design, art, and all things creative — but ask me about perfumery, movies, pop music, LGBTQ+ culture, and of course, Madonna... 😉
